The Walking Dead: Remember

WARNING: POSSIBLE SPOILERS

So tonight we said bye-bye to Rick's beard and my mind just kept repeating "OH WHYYYYYY". I admit that I am a lover of bearded faces. Moving on from that sad moment... Daryl kept his dirty self the same by refusing to give in to the shower, and I'm thankful because that bathroom stole Rick's rough bearded face. I'm sorry, now on to some actual thoughts.

Mysterious comic book girl that creeps over the fence...I'm wondering if she has Rick's blender gun??? She managed to get out of Carl's sights. Also, is she replacing the young female role in Carl's life that Sophia played in the comics? For those of you that don't read the comics, Sophia, aka barn walker, was still alive at this point and became Carl's "girlfriend" of some sorts.

Another comic-lead question: Who will replace the position that Andrea played in the books? Our sharp shooter is missing and that's not something that I want cut out of the show. Maybe Tara could step up and take 'em out? I would love to see her character developed more. Talking about her stepping up, how about those special effects tonight? Some may find it utterly disgusting but the way the flesh peeled off of that walker was FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC!!!

The ending scene with Carol, Rick, and Daryl was a great gateway into how the group will approach the Alexandria Safe Zone, and I'm excited for what's ahead.

This girl is off to bed.
Good night,
Sleep tight,
don't let the walkers bite!

Library Haul: Buffy The Vampire Slayer Graphic Novels

I can't get over how great these were! These were the Season 8 Volumes and they were all about Buffy facing Twilight, plus other monsters, with her legion of slayers. Different take of the Buffy story, but I liked it none the less. The artwork is beautiful and I want to hang all of it on my wall.

This is the "beginning" of my Buffy era. I purchased all of the Buffy novels that were put into a 3 volume set. I'll be reading those next after I finish my current library haul and Remnants by Lisa T. Bergren.
^ Here's the first volume in the series I'm talking about. Other than the books, I started watching the show, and I'm in season 2. Sadly, I would be farther but I'm super busy! I'm off to continue reading!

Library Haul: Supernatural Graphic Novels

Here, as promised, is the first review of many that is involved with my online library discovery haul! The website is like one big black hole, and I'm not even trying to crawl out of it. If Cas came to grip me tight and raise me out I would put an angel banishing sigil on my laptop. The only downfall is that there are some books not in the data base. I wonder if there's a way to request... There were only 2 SPN comics so I grabbed up both:
Supernatural: Origins
This was the first installment, and it was a solid beginning.
the comic doesn't focus on Dean and Sam's hunting adventures, rather their father's. Different take on the whole situation, but it showcases the struggle John Winchester went through transforming from a small town father into a hunter of unnatural beings.

Supernatural: Beginning's End
My favorite of the two I read, this is the third installment. We get to see the Winchester family on a father-son-son hunt. The dynamics of the trio hunting highlights the differences between the brothers and John's unfair treatment he's been giving the boys since their mother's accident. The protective Dean helps Sam get through their father's neglect causes me many feels. As it will to other fans of the brotherhood.

Next review should be over the Supernatural Novels :)

Lots of things are happening

Woohoo I can finally write this post. My computer had to do some updating and shut down just as I started writing this post 10 minutes ago. This is the last time, I promise, that I'm saying sorry for not being on here. I'm feeling top-notch and super happy! Started working at an amazing art studio as an apprentice, LOVE IT!! So that marked the end of my job struggles. I also am in the home stretch of my senior year! I'm happy and so delighted to be back on here sharing thoughts and insights on reading materials, music, and so much more :)

 *more on this man later*

So I finished Psych today:(((( OH THE TEARSSSSSSSSSS and laughter. Amazing series that I would recommend to everyone. It's a crime show with lots of humor. It'll always have a little piece of my heart. Now I'm starting Smallville, and trying to finish How I Met Your Mother, The Office, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, X Files, and some others that I'm sure I'm sadly forgetting. Decided that 100 books in a year isn't a challenge enough, so I'm also attempting 100 films as well.

Back to that beautiful man, I decided to watch everything that Jensen Ackles was in. Crazy, but he's some of my favorite actors and real life personalities. Genuine guy with a loving family:) Well unfortunately I discovered that a few of the things he was in isn't available on dvd and I'm having a hard time hunting them down online. If anyone has links to the episodes he appeared in of Days Of Our Lives or Mr. Rhodes, please let me know. I'll do some more digging, and share if I find anything. He was on a show called Still Life that never aired on television, and I'm telling you it would have been one of the greatest shows on television. It had such a great plot, and the pilot episode can be found on youtube.

So during this quest to find his films, and a renewed joy, I stumbled down the rabbit hole that is my local library's website. On said website you can look through the entire county's library collection and request books to be sent to the one nearest you. I have one a few blocks away...dangerously close. Well I ended my search with 28 holds. Here are my first two pick-ups:

So yeah...I have lots to read, watch, and review. Be ready for a storm of posts and lots of supernatural adventures! This isn't even all of it yet.

Signing off, Erinn xx
